6 Ps of Reading at Westgate
In English this week, we have demonstrated great TEAMWORK, whilst practicing the 6 Ps of reading. Passion. Power. Pitch. Punctuation. Pause. Pace. We applied the 6 P skills to animal poetry, and performed them together. Check out one of the catchy performances...
In English, we have been watching David Attenborough and taking inspiration from his narration. We have used his style in our writing. Take a look at some of our work.
We have been busy investigating FRACTIONS. We are doing brilliantly!
To finish our third week of FRACTION learning, we have worked in pairs to demonstrate what we can remember so far. We've done a great job!
For our final P.E. session, we played a great game of SCATTERBALL to show TEAMWORK. It was lots of fun.
CONGRATULATIONS to our class-voted librarians. They have been busy learning how to use the equipment.
Well done to one of our pupils - part of her design was chosen to decorate part of our Lincoln Imp. We are so proud of her!

In Science, we launched our new animal topic by investigating what it means to be 'living.' We identified the 7 basic needs of all living things. Mrs Gren helped us to remember what living things need to survive.
During Term 4, we worked together to design, make and pitch a new and exciting chocolate product linked to our European topic. Our class had Germany. We came up with Wunderbar as our tasty pretzel, chocolate dip. It was delicious. We showed great TEAMWORK whilst trying to persuade Mr. Kelwick to invest in our product. This is the advert for our product...
